Texas HALO Fund launched the Texas HALO Fund III in 2019, the third fund in the Texas HALO Fund series that began in 2012. Like the previous funds Fund III targets early-stage businesses with promising growth prospects.
The Texas HALO Fund III closed to new investors on December 31, 2019, but continues to make new and follow on investments and due to the excellent quality and quantity of opportunities that we continue to see as well as strong interest from both investors who want to join the Fund or who want to make a larger commitment. We launching the HALO Fund IV in late 2020.
Each of the HALO Funds is created to give investors easy access to the potentially high returns available in early stage investments while addressing the unique challenges that confront investors attempting to create a portfolio on their own, such as lack of quality deal flow, insufficient time to devote to due diligence and inadequate capital to spread among the number of investments needed in a diversified portfolio.
Texas HALO Funds solve these problems by building a portfolio of twenty to thirty companies across multiple sectors. Investments are heavily screened by the funds Managing Directors, who bring sector specific expertise, carefully cultivated deal flow and years of early stage investing experience to the table. After funding, the Managing Directors pro-actively engage with company management provide active oversight of the investment.
The Texas HALO Fund is based in Houston, but open to investors nation-wide and screens opportunities nationally. The Fund is not industry specific and invests across sectors to create a highly diversified portfolio for investors.
